Zelma Neveline Utley Obituary (1919 - 2010)

\ Mrs. Zelma Neveline Chamberlain Utley, 90, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 7:15 P.M., Saturday, March 20, 2010 at her residence. \ She was born December 14, 1919, in Hopkins County, KY to the late Thomas Winfield and Estella Beatrice Howard Chamberlain. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Compton Utley; one son, Howard Owen Utley and her granddaughter, Tawana Elaine DeMoss Mims; three brothers and one sister. \ Mrs. Utley retired from Regional Medical Center in 1988 as a Nursing Care Specialist. She was a member of Grapevine Baptist Church and lifetime, 50 year member of OES #390. \ She is survived by one daughter, Zelma (Mickey) DeMoss of Hanson and three great grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Gaddis officiating. Burial will follow in Browder Church Cemetery in Madisonville. \ Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. \ Memorial contributions may take the form of donation to the Green River Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
