Aaron Todd Hollis

Mr. Aaron Todd Hollis, 26, of Madisonville, KY left to be with God at 9:50 A.M. Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ He was born April 13, 1982 in Madisonville to Michael Edward Hollis of Bremen, KY and Rene Miller Hollis of Jewell City, KY. \ He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Jeanetta Hollis; and their two sons, Caleb Dean Hollis, 4, and Evan Todd Hollis, 2, all of Hanson; his parents Mike Hollis and Rene Hollis; one brother, Michael Shawn Hollis, sister-in-law Jenny Hollis both of Henderson, KY; grandmothers, Geraldine Miller Agent of Providence, KY and Sybil Hollis of Madisonville; his grandparents, Bobby and Betty Timmons of Madisonville; two brother-in-laws, Dustin Wayne Larkins and Alex Robert Larkins, Sr. of Madisonville; his mother and father-in-law, Randall Dean and Sheila Denise Larkins of Madisonville. He was Uncle Aaron to three nieces and two nephews with a sixth niece or nephew on the way. \ He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ben Miller and Maurice Hollis. \ Aaron loved being a family man. He was a devoted father, loving husband and a wonderful friend. He was most proud of his two sons and hoped they would follow in his footsteps. He dreamed big and didnt settle for anything less than the best. He enjoyed fishing, watching KY Basketball, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. \ Aaron said the song Mr. Mom by Lonestar was written for him. While staying home with his boys he attended MCC and earned an HVAC diploma with a 4.0 grade point average. He was a member of Phi Theta Kappa, an academic fraternity. He also had the honor of speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony for the new MCC Tech Campus. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Bruce officiating \ Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday and after 10:00 A.M. Saturday until the service time at the funeral home. \ Memorial Contributions may take the form of donation to the Aaron Todd Hollis Memorial Fund c/o First United Bank, 162 N. Main St., Madisonville KY 42431. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be Shawn Hollis, Randall Larkins, Dustin Larkins, Alex Larkins, Junior Guill, Mark Hollis, Gaylon Giardinella and Don Lomache. Honorary pallbearers will be Marshall Clark and Greg Hollis. \ Please pray for his wife, two young sons and his family. \
