Aaron Douglas \Doug\"" Watkins Obituary (1948 - 2009)

\ Mr. Aaron Douglas Doug Watkins, 61, of Nebo, Kentucky passed away at 10:55 A.M., Monday, July 27, 2009 outside doing activities he enjoyed. \ He was born March 9, 1948 in Henderson County, KY to the late Aaron Randolph Watkins. \ He was a member of the Nebo Christian Church. He was a retired Supervisor for G.E. He was an avid hunter, dog lover, and handyman. He was a volunteer for the Nebo Volunteer Fire Department. He was also a member of N.R.A. and a past D.Q.P for the National Horse Show Commission. \ He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carol Crowe Watkins of Nebo; his mother, Francele Watkins Griffin of Henderson, KY; one son, Aaron Christopher Watkins of Robards, KY; and two grandsons, Aaron Dustin Boomer Watkins of Nebo and Jon Michael Watkins of Providence; a brother and sister-in-law, Howard and LaRhue Crowe, and his mother-in-law, Sue Crowe. \ Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 29 2009 at the Nebo Christian Church with the Bro. Ted Morelock officiating. Burial will follow at Crow Cemetery in Nebo, KY. \ Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday and 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the funeral Home. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to the Benevolent Fund at Nebo Christian Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
