Andy Eugene Brown

Mr. Andy Eugene Brown, 51, of Nortonville, KY passed away Thursday May 20, 2010 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. \ He was born April 10, 1959 in Madisonville, KY to Betty Joyce Brown of Madisonville, and the late Edgar Lee Brown. \ Mr. Brown was a member of the Trinity Holy Church in Mortons Gap, KY. \ He was a member of the Madisonville Coon Hunters, an avid outdoorsman and fisherman. He was a wonderful husband, father and a friend to all that knew him and a very good coal miner. \ He is survived by his wife, Hope L. Brown of Nortonville; his mother, Betty Brown; one daughter, Heather Brown of Nortonville; one son, Matt Brown of Nortonville; three sisters, Vicki (Bill) Shadrick of Madisonville, Kathy (Greg) Harris of Canton, KY and Connie (Danny) Blades of Hopkinsville, KY; two brothers, Kenneth (Carol) Brown of Madisonville and Greg Brown also of Madisonville; mother-in-law, Betty Brown, and father-in-law, JB Cooper, and several nieces and nephews. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 24, 2010 at The River at T.G.T. in Nortonville with Pastor Steve Stone, Bro. Gene Rickard and Rev. Mitch Cotton officiating. Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home and Monday from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the church. \ Pallbearers will be Danny Cooper, Robert Poole, Trent Teague, Hollis Teague, Jerry Gibbs and Scotty Patterson. \
