Anita Sue Mercer, 79, of Madisonville, KY passed away, Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Madisonville Health and Rehab.
She was born March 17, 1940 to the late Joseph Mahlosky and Marjorie Pendley Mahlosky. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Glyndon Mercer; one daughter, Angela Rodgers; one granddaughter, Julia Wooten; and one brother, Dewey Mahlosky.
She was a member at First Baptist Church in Madisonville. She enjoyed reading her Bible, shopping, and eating out with friends.
She is survived by one son, Bill (Tammye) Mercer of Greenville, SC; one brother, Bobby (Trish) Mahlosky of Greenville, KY; four grandchildren, Sam Mercer, Destiny Mercer, Madyson Mercer, and Mallory Moore; and three great grandchildren, Ma'leeya Mercer, Beau Mercer, and Julian Moore.
Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Thursday April 25, 2019 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill in Central City, KY.
Visitation will be 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
