Anna Ray Burton

Anna Ray Burton, 92, of Bowling Green, KY passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at Magnolia Village in Bowling Green.
Mrs. Burton was born June 3, 1924 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Claude Hyatt and Lorene Hanley Hyatt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Harold Burton; one brother, and two sisters.
Anna made her living as a homemaker and was a member of First General Baptist Church in Madisonville.
She is survived by her daughter, Vickie (Dan) Willis of Nashville, TN; four sons, Harold Wayne (Cheryl) Burton of Madisonville, Rev. Billy (Donna) Burton of Houston, TX, Johnny (Jenny) Burton of Bowling Green, and David (Carolynn) Burton of Bowling Green, nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Curtis Yarborough and Bro. Jerry Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery in Manitou, KY.
Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 10:00 A.M. until the service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First General Baptist Church Building Fund or the Concord Cemetery Fund. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
