Raymond \Bud\"" Todd Obituary (1926 - 2011)

Mr. Raymond Bud Todd, 85, of Anton, KY died at 5:18 A.M. Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ He was born August 16, 1926, in Hopkins County, KY to the late Arthur Raymond Todd Sr. and Elizabeth Athelia Carlisle Todd. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Helen Todd and Nina Martha Todd and a grandson, James Kenneth Todd Jr. \ Mr. Todd was a member and a Deacon of the Bethlehem Christian Church, a member of the UMWA and a lifetime farmer. He worked for Island Creek Coal Company for 37 years at the Fies and Providence #1 Mine. \ He is survived by his wife, Anna Jean Todd of Anton; two sons, Jimmy (Sherry) Todd and Donnie (Lisa Karch) Todd all of Anton. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday September 21, 2011, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Mason officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. \ Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 12 noon until the service time Wednesday at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be David Reynolds, Dewayne Reynolds, Willis Robertson, Elliot Reynolds, Robert Rickard and Pete Dexter Sr. \ Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Jenkins, Barry Slaton, Willie Rickard, Johnnie Davis, Bobby Devine, Danny Fireline, Larry Root and Melvin Carlisle. \ Memorial donations may be made to the Bethlehem Christian Church. \
