Betty Martin

Mrs. Betty Martin, 75, of Hanson, KY died Tuesday, January 11, 2005, at her home. \ Born July 20, 1929 in Louisville, KY she was the daughter of the late Leonard Lucas Sr. and Lula Patterson Lucas. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard S. Martin, April 9, 2000, one daughter, Cheryl Martin and one brother, Leonard Lucas Jr. \ Mrs. Martin was a member of the Dixon Baptist Church and was a wonderful Mother. \ Surviving are four daughters, Carolyn Stobaugh of Dawson Springs, KY, Rebecca Nelson of Calhoun, KY, Lisa Cates and Mary Nelson, both of Hanson; four sons, Leonard Martin Jr. of Hanson, Tony Martin of Dawson Springs, Jerry Martin and Freddy Martin, both of Hanson; one sister, Alois Pemper of Boston, MA; one brother, Norman Fulkerson of San Antonio, TX; fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 19, 2005, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Boyd Nelson and Steven Ruby officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery near Hanson. \ Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after Noon Wednesday. \
