Beverly Benkhatar

Madisonville, Kentucky

Beverly Critser Benkhatar, 77, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024. She was born on July 5, 1947, to Harold and Eleanor Critser, and grew up alongside her beloved sister Barbara Critser Bibbee, all of whom preceded her in death.

Beverly graduated from Eastern Kentucky University and dedicated her life to serving others through her work at the State of Florida's Agency for Persons with Disabilities. Her passion for helping people was reflected in every aspect of her life, as she cared deeply for her community, family, and friends.

Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. Beverly had a deep and abiding love for Jesus, and her relationship with Him guided her every step. She shared that love with those around her, always finding ways to offer support, compassion, and encouragement.

In addition to her love for others, Beverly was an avid fan of the University of Kentucky Wildcats and loved cheering them on during basketball season. She took great joy in watching her Wildcats play and celebrated every victory with enthusiasm.

Beverly is survived by her nephews, Blake Bibbee (Lindsey Bibbee) and Brian Bibbee (Antje Gamble), as well as her great-nephews, William Crawford and Samuel Bibbee. She will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her selfless heart, and the love she spread to everyone she encountered.

A private service will be held for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Beverly's memory to a charity supporting individuals with disabilities, reflecting her lifelong passion for service.
