Billy Ray Vincent

Mr. Billy Ray Vincent, 69, of Manitou, KY passed away at 9:00 A.M., July 12, 2009 at his residence. \ He was born November 7, 1939 in Muhlenberg Co. KY to the late Carl T. Vincent and Millie Mae Woods Vincent. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. \ Mr. Vincent was a self-employed woodworker. He loved to play music, tend to his garden, and was an avid animal lover. \ He is survived by his companion, Hilta M. Vincent of Manitou; one daughter, Betty (Tony) Caudill of Manitou; one son, Billy (Teresa) Vincent of Elizabethtown, KY; three sisters, Brenda Young, Wanda Evitts, and Linda Bowles, all of Nebo, KY; three brothers, Carl Vincent Jr. of Madisonville, Frankie Vincent of Providence, KY, and Larry Vincent of Diamond, KY; five grandchildren, Nancy Reynolds of Manitou, Daniel Vincent of Louisville, KY , Phillip Caudill of Madisonville, Leslie Schmidt also of Louisville, and Grant Caudill of Crofton, KY; three great grandchildren, Whitney Reynolds, Morgan Schmidt, and Bindi Rae Reynolds, and several nieces and nephews. \ Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with burial to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 and from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. \ Memorial Contributions may take the form of donation to the Hopkins County Humane Society or the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
