Bonnie Helen Phillips, 82, of Nortonville, KY, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. \ She was born October 16, 1930 in Christian County to Floyd Adams and Jennie West Adams. She was preceded by her husband, Alfred LeRoy Phillips, one brother, and two sisters. \ Mrs. Phillips was a member of Mannington Baptist church. She collected antique toys. She enjoyed doing yardwork, cooking for her family, attending auctions, and going to thriftstores. \ She is survived by two sons, Richard (Lita) Phillips of Nortonville, and Randal (Teresa) Phillips of Louisville, KY; one sister, Nelda (Glen) Donley of Minnesota; one brother, Wayne (Joanne) Adams of Nortonville; four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. \ Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday at Rosebud Cemetery in Crittenden County. \ Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Saturday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. \ Memorial contributions may be made to Rosebud Cemetery Fund. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home. \
