Carl Vickery Jr. Obituary (1931 - 2006)

Mr. Carl Vickery Jr., 75, of Madisonville, KY, died Tuesday, July 4, 2006, at 11:18 A.M., at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ Born February 23, 1931, in Dyer County, TN, he was the son of the late Carl Odell Vickery and Opal Lurine Boane Vickery. He was also preceded in death by one son, Steven Vickery. \ Mr. Vickery was a member of Praise Temple Apostolic Church in Madisonville. He was a heavy equipment operator for Smith Excavating. \ He is survived by his wife, Ethel Blackstone Crockett Vickery of Madisonville; two daughters, Brenda Moore of Manitou, KY and Janice Mangum of Madisonville; two sons, Ronnie and Tim Vickery both of Madisonville; two sisters, Patsy Rhudy of Memphis, TN and Ruth Roden of Kenton, TN; two step-daughters, Judy Tapp of Nortonville, KY, and Loriene Barnett of Clearwater, FL; one step-son, Tommy Crockett of Madisonville; twelve grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, five step- great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. \ Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 7, 2006, with Bro. Richard Sisk, Bro. Philip Cook and Bro. Shaun Vickery officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville. \ Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Friday until the service time at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be Terry Roden, Edward Holt, Craig Patterson, Robert Patterson, Jeremy Tapp, Tommy C. Crockett Jr. and Chris Cook. \ Memorial donation may be made to the Carl Vickery Memorial Fund at Old National Bank in Madisonville. \
