Carol E. Wilkinson

\ Carol E. Wilkinson, 92, of Madisonville, KY passed away, Friday, April 17, 2015 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY. \ \ Mrs. Wilkinson was born on January 18, 1923 in Princeton, IN to the late Pete Tooley and Bessie Brittingham Tooley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Melvin L. Wilkinson. \ \ She was a school teacher in the Hopkinsville district for 16 years. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene on McLeod Lane. She also served as a missionary in Argentina and Uruguay. Mrs. Wilkinson enjoyed illustrating hymns in chalk art while her husband played the song. \ \ She is survived by one son, Daniel Wilkinson of Hopkinsville; and one brother, Charles Tooley of Princeton, IN; and several nieces and nephews. \ \ Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Daniel Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. \ \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home and from 10:00 A.M. until the service time at the church on Saturday. \ \ Memorial contributions may be World Mission's at the Church of the Nazarene in Lenexa, KS. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home. \ \
