Carrie Helen Woods Browning

Carrie Helen Woods Browning, 97, of Madisonville, KY passed away Saturday, January 25, 2019 at her residence.
She was born April 5, 1921 in Anton, KY to the late William 'Billy' Woods and Sarah Veazey Woods. She was also preceded in death by six brothers, five sisters, one grandson, and one great grandson.
She made her living as a homemaker and was a member of Elm Grove Methodist Church for 74 years.
She is survived by five sons, Gary F. (Dona) Browning of Kodak, TN; C.P. (Debra) Browning of Hanson, KY; Dwight D. Browning of Madisonville; Ron McCraw of Anton; and Gary Holland of Madisonville; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Elm Grove Methodist Church with Bro. Maurice Lisanby officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday at the church. The family will arrive at the church at 9:00 A.M. to accept any food donations.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Elm Grove Methodist Church Building Fund. Envelopes will be made available at the church.
