Cheryl Roberts Hallyburton, 73, of Madisonville, Kentucky, passed away on October 20, 2026, in Lexington, Kentucky.
Born in Giessen, Germany, Cheryl made her home in Madisonville, Kentucky, for many years before spending her final months in Lexington, Kentucky.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Douglas Hallyburton; her sister, Jho Jolly; her brother, Eddie Roberts; and her parents, Louise and Edward Roberts.
She is survived by her children, Bradley Lenn Coyle and Layne Hallyburton Burgess (Taylor); and her three cherished grandchildren, Addison Coyle, Barrett Burgess, and Vivian Burgess.
Cheryl will be remembered for the love she shared with her family, the strength she carried throughout her life, the lasting impact she made on those fortunate enough to know her, and her love for reading.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at First Christian Church in Madisonville, Kentucky. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m.
