Cheryl Faye Senn

Cheryl Faye Senn, 79, of Old Hickory, TN, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Summit Hospital in Nashville, TN.
She was born November 11, 1945 in Providence, KY, to the late Amon Blackburn and Zona Brown Blackburn. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, James Blackburn and Marion Dever.
Cheryl enjoyed cooking, baking, doing crafts, and gardening. She was selected Nurse of the Year for Western KY. She worked in various nursing homes in Madisonville, Henderson, and Georgia. After graduating Nursing School, she worked at Baptist Health for years.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Robert "Bob" Senn of Old Hickory; one daughter, Johnna Brant of TN; two step daughters, Dana Purvis and Jackie Horner, both of SC; four grandchildren, Jack Purvis, Ridge Purvis, Samantha Garrett, and Olivia Semler; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday January 20, 2024 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Senior Pastor Allen Youngbar officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Providence.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the service time Saturday at the Funeral Home.
