Danny Ray Utley

Mr. Danny Ray Utley, 55, of Providence, KY died at 1:30 P.M. Sunday, September 3, 2006 at the Regional Medical Center. \ Born March 9, 1951 in Madisonville, KY he was the son of the late Garner Owen Utley and Harp Neveline Curtwright Utley. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ellen Utley and Helen Utley and one brother, Larry Wayne Utley. \ He worked for McCoy & McCoy for several years and was a member of Gum Grove Baptist Church in Providence. \ He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda Utley of Providence; one daughter, Sandy Utley Parker of Providence; one son, Jamie Utley of Atlanta, GA;one brother, James Owen Utley of Madisonville; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. \ Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 7, 2006 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Gaylon Dawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Silent Run Cemetery in Nebo, KY. Pallbearers will be Jamie Utley, Mike Utley, Shay Vickery, Ronnie Menser, Tony Baker and Jessie Robinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Leslie Robinson and Billy Joe Vickery. \ Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and on Thursday after 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. \
