David E. Anderson

David E. Anderson, 68 of Madisonville, KY passed away December 17, 2017, at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
He was born May 25, 1949, in Hopkins County to the late Raymond Thomas Anderson and Violet Mae Murphy.
Mr. Anderson was a Sergeant at Arms in the Kentucky Constable Association. He served as Hopkins County Constable for 16 years. He enjoyed serving his community and helping others. He also owned and operated A&B Cycle for 30 years before retiring in 2005. He was a jack of all trades and a master electrician.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Brenda Utley Anderson; one son, Bryan (Diana) Anderson of Madisonville; one daughter, Shelley (David) Inglis of Georgetown, KY; two sisters, Linda Kowalkowski of Earlington, KY and Carla (David) Hall of Greenville; KY; three grandchildren, Keegan and Lindsey Anderson and Nathan Inglis; along with several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Sorrells officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hopkins County Humane Society. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
