David Pearson

David W. Pearson, 69, of Madisonville, KY passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. Pearson was born August 17, 1947 in Piqua, OH to the late John A. Pearson and Mildred Moore Pearson. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Eddie Pearson.
He worked in wastewater collection at the City of Madisonville. He was a past member of the Elks and the American Legion Post 6. David was also an Army Vietnam veteran.
He is survived by one sister, April Melody Pearson, two brothers, Jim and Dannye Pearson; all of Madisonville and one sister-in-law, Jeanette Pearson; one foster brother, Lawrence Holtz of Dawson Springs; seven nieces and nephews; twelve great nieces and nephews; twelve great great nieces and nephews; and many others he helped raise.
A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Smith officiating.. Burial will follow in Grapevine Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to7:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 12:00 P.M. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Hopkins County Food Bank. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
