Deanna Sue Cothran

Mrs. Deanna Sue Cothran, 65, of Earlington, KY died at 3:20 A.M. Thursday, June 30, 2005 in Dawson Springs, KY. \ Born February 13, 1940 in Hopkins County, KY she was the daughter of the late Manor Lee Cothran and Bertha Mae Mason Cothran Larmouth. She was also preceded in death by one son, Jeff Thomas Scott in 1991. \ She was a homemaker and a Kentucky Colonel. She also volunteered at the Glema Mahr Center for the Fine Arts. \ She is survived by two daughters; Mrs. Robin Guynn and Ms. Jill Scott, both of Madisonville; one son, Kurt Scott of Manitou; one sister, Linda Honeycutt of Dawson Springs, KY and eight grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 2, 2005 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Clayton Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Grapevine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Channing Slate, Jeff Scott, Nathaniel Scott, Daniel Gipson and Logan Scott. \ Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home and on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the services. \ Memorial gifts may take the form of donations to the Glema Mahr Center for the Fine Arts. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
