Deborah Kay Perdue

Deborah Kay Perdue, 70, of Madisonville, KY passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.
She was born on July 14, 1955, in Providence, KY to the late James D. Franklin and Betty Reynolds Richardson. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Louise Perdue; her sisters, Donna Stead and Darlene Capps; and brother, Jimmy Dale Franklin.
Mrs. Perdue pursued her career as a banker and loved serving her customers. Her favorite title was Granny and she loved spoiling her family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and serving her church at Providence Second Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Gregory Perdue; daughter, Amanda (Wes Higgins) Lampton of Madisonville; sister, Cindy Ferguson of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Scotty D. Franklin of Madisonville; two grandchildren, Colby (Breanna) Childers and Daylen Lampton; and great grandson, Grant Childers.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, July 6, 2026, at Second Baptist Church Providence with Bro. Fred Harrison, Bro. Micah Kelley, and Bro. Jim Lamtrip officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Providence.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville and from 11:00 A.M. until the service time Monday at the church in Providence.
Pallbearers will be Jon Hall, Eddie Perdue, Timothy Hall, Jason Franklin, Kevin Richardson, and Zach Gaither. Honorary pallbearer will be James Capps.
