Delores Grimes Warford

Mrs. Delores Grimes Warford, 78, of Madisonville, KY, died Friday, October 13, 2006, at 12:00 noon, at her home. \ Born September 14, 1928, in Dundas, MN, she was the daughter of the late William Howard and Martha Jackson Grimes. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Haas and one brother, Everett Grimes. \ She was a member of Covenant Community Church in Madisonville. \ Mrs. Warford is survived by her husband, Norman T. Warford of Madisonville; two daughters, Yolonda Libby of Madisonville, and Sharon Weaver of Hanson, KY; one son, Jerry Jones of Aurora, CO; two step-sons, Mike Warford of Somerset, KY and Chris Warford of Madisonville; one sister, Dorothy Vesledahl of Nerstrand, MN; one brother, William Grimes of Branson, MO; ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be Monday, October 16, 2006, at 2:00 P.M., at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Knight, Pastor Tony Spikes and Mr. Roy Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. \ Visitation will be Sunday, October 15, 2006, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., and after 10:00 AM. Monday until the service time at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be Shon Libby, Brian Weaver, Brad Weaver, Chuck Shockley, Steven Warford, Brad Warford, Mark Johnson, Kenneth Vesledahl. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Mattingly, Paul Phillips, Mike Grimes, David Vesledahl and Danny Vesledahl. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to the Green River Hospice or Covenant Community Church in Madisonville. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \ \
