Dolores Thompson Obituary (1928 - 2023)

Dolores Thompson, 95, of Dixon, KY passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Madisonville Health and Rehab. She was born March 25, 1928 to the late Norwood Townsend and Mattie Bunch Townsend. She was also preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Thompson; and sister, Jean Barker. Dolores made her living as a housewife and was a member of White Oak General Baptist Church. She has a love for music and you could always find her dancing. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Dale) Parker of Hanson, KY and Jackie (Harold) Dilback of Providence, KY; brother, James L. Townsend; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 28, 2023 at White Oak Cemetery with Bro.
