Don McClain Pendley

Don McClain Pendley, 77, of Madisonville passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 at his residence in LaVergne, TN.
Mr. Pendley was born April 18, 1939 in Nortonville, KY to the late Gilbert McClain Pendley and Alma Lee Smith Pendley. He was also preceded in death by his wife Sue Pendley and one great grandchild, Liam Keplinger.
Don was an avid outdoorsman. He loved riding horses, fishing, and hunting. He was a UK fan and loved his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by five daughters, Kaye Harris of LaVergne, TN, Sheryl (Donald) Cunningham of Hanson, KY, Karen Gray of Madisonville, Debra (Paul) Faughn of Hanson, and Donna (Rusty) Honeycutt of Madisonville; one son, Randy (Joy) Pendley of Hanson; one sister, Rowena Ladd of LaVergne, TN; two brothers, Johnny (Pat) Pendley of Nebo, KY and Dickie Pendley of Madisonville; 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Ruby Rickard officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and 11:00 A.M. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Harris, Erick Harris, Donald Cunningham, II., Curtis Pendley, Dustin Honeycutt, Jerade Honeycutt, and Jake Wagner.
