Doris Jackson

Mrs. Doris Jean Jackson, 73, of Madisonville, KY died at 1:55 P.M. Sunday July 6, 2008, at her residence in Madisonville. \ Born September 20, 1934 in Dawson Springs, KY, she was the daughter of the late Roy C. and Ruby Casteel McGee. \ Mrs. Jackson was an Army wife and traveled all over the US and many foreign countries for 20 years. \ Mrs. Jackson was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star, she served as Worthy Matron of Nortonville Chapter 143 for four years and Dawson Springs Chapter 133 for two years. She also served as Deputy Grand Matron three time and Grand Representive to Quebec. She also loved animals and had several pets during her life. She is survived by two dogs, Zoe and Star which she loved very much. \ Surviving are her husband of 58 years, William E. Jackson of Madisonville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Cynthia A. Jackson of Madisonville and Mrs. Theresa and Gene Kraft of Crofton, KY; two sons and daughter-in-laws, Michael D. and Denise Jackson and Roger D. and Heather Jackson all of Madisonville; one sister, Ruth Carter of Carrolton, TX; one brother, Billy McGee of Mishawaka, IN; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. \ There will be no services \ Memorials may take the form of donations to the Dawson Springs Chapter 133 Order of the Eastern Star. \
