Dorothy L. Taylor

rs. Dorothy L. Taylor, 75, of Madisonville, KY, died Thursday, March 11, 2004, at 7:45 A.M., at St. Marys Hospital in Evansville, IN. \ Born October 13, 1928 in Dupont, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Michaline Romanowski Lis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth O. Tex Taylor, on November 15, 2003 and by four brothers and two sisters. \ Mrs. Taylor was a retired RN from the Madisonville Vocational School and was a 1948 graduate of the Wilkes Barre Hospital Nursing School. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. \ She is survived by two daughters, Kenwyn Riddle of Madisonville and Tama Taylor of Louisville, KY; one son, Kenneth O. Bo Taylor of Madisonville; one sister, Mary Mikiewicz of Dupont, PA; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. \ Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 13, 2004 at 1:00 P.M., at Christ the King Catholic Church with Father Gerald Calhoun officiating. Entombment will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. \ Visitation will be Friday, March 12, 2004 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., with a Prayer Service at 6:00 P.M., and on Saturday, March 13, 2004, from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M., at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. \ Pallbearers will be Jimmy Riddle, Chris Dukes, Michael Hatfield, Tony Melendez, Kim Nelson, and Anthony Allen. \ Memorials may be made in the form of donations to the Christ the King Renovation Fund.
