Douglas Lee Tichenor

Douglas Lee Tichenor, 54, of Madisonville passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
Mr. Tichenor was born October 12, 1960 in Hopkins Co., KY to Henry Tichenor and the late Ruby Lee Arnett. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Walter T. Arnett; sister, Barbara Tichenor; and brother, James 'Jim' Tichenor.
Doug was of the Non-Denominational faith. He lived the past several years to share his faith with others. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by three daughters, Amanda (James) Tichenor Hawkins of Madisonville; Misty Tichenor Fairrow of Madisonville; and Brandy Tichenor of Morganfield; one son, Derrick Tichenor of Morganfield; three sisters, Donna (Loyd) Arnold of Madisonville; Wanda Tichenor of Madisonville; and Kathy Tichenor of Owensboro; step-daughter, Tina Cowles of Bowling Green, KY; 15 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and 11 nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Odd Fellows Cemetery with Bro. Roy Ellis officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Douglas Tichenor Memorial Fund c/o Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
