Dylan Tyler \Tater Digger\"" Whitfield Obituary (1994 - 2012)

\ Dylan Tyler Tater Digger Whitfield, 17, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012 at St. Marys Medical Center in Evansville, IN. \ \ He was born October 26, 1994 in Madisonville, to Windell Whitfield Jr, and Rhonda Rector Whitfield. He was also preceded in death by two grandmothers, Daisy Rector and Alice Whitfield; one grandfather, Frank Rector. \ \ He was a junior at Hopkins County Central High School and a member of Truth Apostolic Church, Madisonville. \ \ He is survived by his parents; grandfather, Windell Whitfield Sr. of Madisonville; one sister, Shelby Whitfield of Madisonville; one brother, Jacob Whitfield of Madisonville; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. \ \ Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Orten officiating. Burial will follow in Flat Creek Cemetery, Mortons Gap, KY. \ \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, March 23, 2012 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home and after 11:00 A.M. Saturday until the service time. \ \ Pallbearers will be Jacob Whitfield, Brandon Eagen, Joe Sellers, Matt Gallimore, Tim Gallimore, and Frank Wright. \ \ Memorial contributions can be made to the Storm Youth Service Center C/O Hopkins County Central High School.
