Eddy Ray Mayes

Eddy Ray Mayes, 52, of Madisonville, KY passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
Mr. Mayes was born August 25, 1963 in Muhlenberg Co., KY to Thomas Lee Mayes and the late Bessie Irene Mayes. He was also preceded in death by step-father, Gene Smith and a brother, Lonnie Harris.
In addition to his father he is survived by his wife, JoLynn Mayes of Madisonville; three daughters, Lynn Mayes, Tiffany Mayes, and Abbey Phillips all of Madisonville; one son, William Mayes of Madisonville; three sisters, Debbie Mayes of Princeton, KY, Judy Mayes of Central City, KY, and Fonda Mayes of Graham, KY; one brother, Dennis Mayes of Central City; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Sam Beeny officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 11:00 A.M. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brock Harris, Daniel Harris, James Johnson, Jonathon Johnson, Michael Chaney, and Nicholas Mayes.
