Elizabeth Ann Gurley

\ Mrs. Elizabeth A. Gurley, 72, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 10:30 A.M., Monday, December 14, 2009 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ She was born September 17, 1937 in Birmingham, AL to the late James Harold Jackson and Ellen Hill Kirby. She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister. \ Mrs. Gurley was a member of the Greater Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of Madisonville. \ She is survived by her husband, Carlos L. Gurley of Madisonville; four children, Carlos Wayne (Sharon) Gurley of Alto Pass, IL, William Lee (Peggy) Gurley of Jonesboro, IL, Lori (Dale) Duncan of Steger, IL and Michael (Melissa) Gurley of Bourbonnais, IL; ten grandchildren, Brandon Dunne, Faith Duncan, Tammy Washer, Jennifer Gurley, Daniel Gurley, Rachel Gurley, Mike Yana, Bradley Duncan, Anthony Andreatta and Jonathan Andreatta; five great-grandchildren, Klayton Washer, Carley Washer, Katie Mowell, Taylor Mowell and Drew Gurley; nine brothers and sisters, James Lee (Yvonne) Jackson, William Joseph Kirby, Abigail Taylor, Alice Jackson, James Harold (Martha) Jackson Jr., Wanda (Fred) Rauchman, Larry (Vicki) Jackson, Terri Jo Jackson and Kathy (Johnny) Barker. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 17, 2009 at the Greater Lighthouse Pentecostal Church with Pastor Ronnie Hendricks and Pastor Brandon Shanks officiating. Burial will follow in Hanson Cemetery in Hanson, KY. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home and after 1:00 P.M. until service time on Thursday at the church. \
