Ethel B. Dupree

Mrs. Ethel B. Dupree, 98, of Madisonville, KY, died Wednesday, January 28, 2004, at 9:00 A.M., at NHC Health Care in Madisonville. \ Born September 10, 1905, in Carlisle, TN, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Thomas Boring and Nora Lee Watkins Boring. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C. H. Dupree in 1981; three sons, Jim Dupree in 1998, Bill Dupree in 1996, and Deno Dupree in 1995; two daughters-in-law, Rita Dupree in 1993 and Thea Dupree in 1998; five brothers and two sisters. \ She was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church in Madisonville. \ She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Dupree and Tom Dupree, both of Madisonville; ten grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be Saturday, January 31, 2004, at 1:30 P.M., at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Leonard officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. \ Visitation will be Friday, January 30, 2004, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., and from 10:00 A.M. until the service time on Saturday at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. \ Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law. \ Memorials may take the form of contributions to the First Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
