Eula Mae Armstrong Obituary (1931 - 2013)

\ Eula Mae Rickard Armstrong, 82, of Madisonville, passed away Thursday April 25, 2013 at her granddaughter's home in Earlington, KY. \ She was born January 13, 1931 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Amos Rickard and Sally Ruby Rickard, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Leon Renfro and Reginald Armstrong; several siblings; and four step-sons. \ Mrs. Armstrong was a member of the First Baptist Church in Madisonville, she loved to garden and she loved her family. \ She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Allen of Mt. Vernon, IN; and Carolyn Capps of Madisonville; two sons, William 'Tank' (Karen) Renfro of Hanson, Steve (Beverly) Renfro of Dawson Springs; one sister, Sue Whitaker of White Plains, KY; one brother, Robert (Maebell) Rickard of Madisonville; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great granddaughter, several nieces and nephews. \ Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 29, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Childers officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery near Hanson, KY. \ Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Sunday and from 9:00 A.M. until service time Monday at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be Jamie Compton, Randall Hendricks, Cody Hendricks, Mike Capps, Phillip Renfro and Jacob Renfro. Honorary Pallbearers will be Danny Fireline and Courtney Compton. \
