Flo Nance

Flo Nance, 75, of Hanson, KY, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.
She was born April 11, 1942, in Flomaton, AL to the late Leslie Watson Coker and Wilma Ruby Guess Lewis. Mrs. Nance was preceded in death by her husband, Jewell Nance in 2012, her brother, Larry Coker, her sister, Joan Crockett and brother in law, Layman Crockett, step sister, Melba Chaney and step brother, Ricky Lewis.
Mrs. Nance was a member of the Hanson United Methodist Church in Hanson, the ELKS BPOE# 738 of Madisonville, KY. She also retired from GE after 36 years.
Mrs. Nance will live on through the help that she gave others by being an organ and tissue donor.
She is survived by two daughters, DeAnn (Steve) Foster of Scottsville, KY, and Cynthia (John A.) LaMure of Hanson; five grandchildren, Samantha (Jarrod) Foster, Jennifer (Brandon) Reynolds, Sarah Foster and her fiance' Jacob Sexton, all of Scottsville, and Joseph LaMure and his fiance' Kayla Roach of Bowling Green, KY and Anna LaMure, of Hanson; and two nieces, Sheri Kipling and Candy Nance, step sisters, Jean (Roger) Russell, Janet (Larry) Dame, Wanda (Willie) Sneed, Becky (Dennis) Oliver and two step brothers, Billy Lewis and Tommy Lewis.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 14, 2017, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Brown of Hanson United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery in Hanson.
Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday and from 12:00 PM until the service hour on Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Dakota Thise, Joseph LaMure, Jason Crockett, Jarrod Foster, Jacob Sexton, and Kevin Crockett.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness Program envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
