Florence \Cookie\" Piper" Gordon

\ Mrs. Florence Cookie Piper Gordon, 58, of Nortonville, KY died at 3:45 P.M. Friday, December 5, 2003 at her residence. \ Born November 9, 1945 in Chicago, IL she was the daughter of the late Edward Joseph Piper and Helen Springer Piper. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Edward Piper in 2003 and one granddaughter, Tiffani Marie Strunk in 1996. \ She was a Corporate Secretary for AIM Cartage & Leasing. \ She is survived by three daughters, Carrie Lynn Sanchez, Loretta Williams and Bernardine Marie Zaldo all of Chicago, IL; two sons, Benjamin Edward Strunk of Earlington, KY and Tony Earl Strunk of Nortonville; two sisters, Elizabeth Wavimer of Blight, CA and Louise Sprouse of AL; two brothers, James Piper and Robert Piper both of McHenry, IL; 11 grandchildren, six great-grandsons and several nieces and nephews. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday December 14, 2003 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Bob King officiating. Burial will follow in the New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville. Pallbearers will be Gary Johnson, Reeson Walker, Jim Henry, Elisah Estrada, Gary Crafton and Martin Zilinger. Honorary will be Arcadio Sanchez, James Zilinger Miles Williams and Monte White Sr. \ Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Saturday and after 11:00 A.M. until the service on Sunday at the funeral home. \ Memorial may take the form of donation to the American Cancer Society. \ \
