George H. Daniels

\ Mr. George H. Sweet Pea Daniels, 70, of Hanson, KY died at 5:30 P.M. Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at the Regional Medical Center. \ Born February 4, 1934 in Hopkins County, KY he was the son of the late Ira Andrew Daniels and Carrie Mae Hudson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Edith Pharris Daniels on April 3, 1987 and one daughter, Becky Dawson on September 1, 1999. \ He was a retired truck driver for Ace Trucking and was president of the Residents Counsel at the Western KY Veterans Center. He was a U.S. Airforce Veteran and a member and historian for the American Legion Post# 6. \ He is survived by two daughters; Amy Crowley and Lisa Moore, both of Madisonville; one son, Doug Seaton of Madisonville; two sisters, Sue Pharris of Sebree, KY and Cindy Rich of White Plains, KY; one brother, Robert Daniels of Morganfield; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday , January 21, 2005 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Chaplain Sam Beeny and Rev. Gordon Downs officiating. Burial will follow in the Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY. Pallbearers will be Steven Ruby, Mike Moore, Travis Belt, Shawn Guinn, Mitchell Seaton and John Charpentier. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Hendricks, Jerome Riggs and Charles Pharris. \ Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday and on Friday from 8:00 A.M. until the services at the funeral home. \
