George Hanke

George Paul Hanke, 77, of Madisonville, KY passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at his residence.
He was born August 30, 1947, in Bulgaria, Germany to the late Alois Hanke and Margaret Richter Hanke. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Carol Burcher Hanke.
George worked as a delivery driver for O’Rielly Auto Parts. He was a mechanic in his free time and loved working on things. He was known by many as a jack of all trades.
He is survived by his daughter, Tabitha (David) Arwine of Madisonville; his two sons, George Hanke Jr. of Gardnerville, NV, and Richard Todd Hanke of Syracuse, NY; two sisters, Margo, Freddie, Julie; one brother, Alois; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
