Gina Fay Lutz Koon

Gina Fay 'Lutz' Koon, 56 of Madisonville, KY passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
Ms. Koon was born August 16, 1960 to the late Clifton Ray Lutz and Geneva Gibson. She was also preceded by one son, Branden Lee Lutz, and an infant brother, Michael Ray Lutz.
She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Madisonville. She loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. She was employed by Carhartt for 29 years with wonderful and caring co-workers, who were her extended family.
She is survived by her loving companion, Kenny Gibson; one son; Matthew(Alicia Lopez)McCracken of Madisonville; one daughter-in-law, Jaime Len Lutz of Bowling Green KY, three sisters, Parma (Jim) Allen of Hanson, Monte (Billy) Mefford of Madisonville, and twin sister Tina Ray Lutz of Madisonville, one brother Jamey (Teresa) Lutz of Madisonville; six grandchildren; Brooklyn and Brantley McCracken, Isaiah and Layla Lopez, and Taylor and Allie Lutz.
The family would like to extend special gratitude to Baptist Health CCU, 3W, 4W, Hospice, and Ridgewood Terrace staff for their exemplary service and care.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Brother Kellan Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 9:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Cavanaugh, Mike Phillips, Shane Merrell, Kenny Gibson, Taylor Lutz, and Matt McCracken.
