Gloria Gail Rice

Mrs. Gloria Gail Rice, 63, of Madisonville, KY died at 6:50 A.M. Monday, January 28, 2008 at her home. \ Born November 23, 1944 in Macoe, KY, she was the daughter of the late Urey Knapp and Mary Moore Knapp. She was also preceded in death by one son, Jeffery Rice. \ Mrs. Rice worked for Lear on the assembly line for auto parts. \ She is survived by her husband, William Rice of Madisonville; three daughters, Nisa Straughn of Louisville, KY, Wendy Slater of Louisville, and Amy Crews of Madisonville; one son, Patrick Crick of Madisonville; two sisters Ruby Watson and Shirley Payne of Earlington, KY; four brothers, James Knapp of Dawson Springs, KY, Urey Knapp Jr. of Nortonville, KY, Terry Knapp and Bill Knapp both of Madisonville; six grandchildren one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. \ Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Dwight Darnell officiating. \ Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. Wednesday until the services at the funeral home. \ Memorial gifts may take the form of donations to the Green River Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
