Helen Marie Pharris

Mrs. Helen Marie Pharris, 86, of Madisonville, KY, died Tuesday, December 26, 2006, at 10:40 A.M., at NHC Health Care in Madisonville. \ Born September 9, 1920, in Hopkins County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Dave and Sara Eva James Robertson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Major O. Pharris; a daughter, Jean Toon; a son, Tommy Pharris, and a brother, Boyd Thomas Robertson. \ She was a housewife and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. \ Mrs. Pharris is survived by three daughters, Katherine Versnick and Lista Foster, both of Madisonville, and Linda Fuqua of Hampton, GA; two sons, Mark Pharris of Madisonville and David Pharris of Birmingham, AL; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren \ Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. \ Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 9:30 A.M. Thursday until the service time. \ Pallbearers will be Mark Pharris II, Roger Toon, Thad Browning, Dirk Browning, Tanner Browning, Coda Blakeley, Zach Greer and Tyler Toon. \
