Helen Uzzle

Mrs. Helen Uzzle, 78, of Mortons Gap, KY died at 4:05 A.M. Sunday, December 18, 2005 at the Regional Medical Center. \ Born May 28, 1927 in Hopkins County, KY she was the daughter of the late Cy Merrell and Georgia Fugate Merrell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, W.D. Uzzle on April 17, 1987; one daughter, Janice Granny Moore on Feb. 21, 2001 and one brother, Leroy Merrell. \ She was a homemaker and a member of the Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Mortons Gap. \ She is survived by one daughter, Thersa Martin of White Plains, KY; one sister, Emma Jean Rector of Joliet, IL and three granddaughters, Wendy Martin, Tiffany Martin, and Amy Moore, all of White Plains. \ Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 22, 2005 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Ellis Payne officiating., Burial will follow in the Old Salem Cemetery in Mortons Gap, KY. \ Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday and on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until the services at the funeral home. \
