Mike Barron

Mr. Mike Barron, 54, of Nebo, KY died at 3:08 P.M. Friday, October 28, 2005 at the Regional Medical Center Emergency Room. \ Born December 15, 1950 in Madisonville, KY, he was the son of the late James Sory Inkum Barron who passed away on April 6, 1995. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Stephen Lee Barron on December 31, 1992. \ He was a Prep Plant Superintendent for Vision Mines in Sebree, KY and had worked in the coal industry for over 30 years. He was a member of the Nebo Christian Church. \ He is survived by his wife, Mary Stone Barron of Nebo; one son, Michael Barron of Nebo; his mother, Jo Nell Barron Mitchell of Madisonville; one sister, LaLena Barron Utley of Nebo; and one brother, Terry J. Barron of Madisonville. \ Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. on Monday, October 31, 2005 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Tondra Daugherty officiating. Burial will follow in the Nebo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Doug Crabtree, Glen Lynn, Terry J. Barron, Jerry Ipock, Steve Blanchard, Alan Lynn, Jerry Vaughn and Johnny Tapp. \ Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday and after 10:00 A.M. on Monday until the services at the funeral home \ Memorial gifts may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \ \
