James Anthony Perkins

James Anthony Perkins, 50, of Nortonville, KY passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 in Nortonville.
Mr. Perkins was born November 7, 1965 in Hopkins Co., KY to the late Hugh Perkins, Sr. and Elizabeth Crick Perkins.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years Rita Perkins of Nortonville; two brothers, Hugh Mack Perkins, Jr. of Madisonville and Joe Perkins of Nortonville; God-daughters, Trinity Patterson, Madison Caraway and Payton Sissom; several nieces, Kristina Barber, Angel Perkins, Amy Watkins, and Rosemary Free; great nephews, Tony Delacruz, Kevin Delacruz, Levi Watkins, and A.J. Williams; one great niece, Rebecca Williams; one great-great nephew Raylan Delacruz; and his black lab Petey Perkins which he loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 23 2015 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Gish officiating. Burial will follow in Old Salem Cemetery in Mortons Gap, KY.
Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
