Jane Thomas Pemberton

Jane Thomas Pemberton, 88, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 2:00 A.M., Friday, February 18, 2011, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ She was born October 3, 1922, in Sacramento, KY to the late John Henry and Leta Dossett Thomas. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Pemberton; one son, Paul Truitt Pemberton; four sisters, Marian Clark, Alice Henry Clark, Lila Plain and Billie Southard Fergurson; one brother, John Haines Thomas. \ Mrs. Pemberton worked for General Electric in Owensboro for 33 years. \ She is survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. \ Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, February 21, 2011, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Sacramento Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Sacramento. \ Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until service time on Monday at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be Tom Southard, Scott Plain, Jimmy Thomas, David Clark, Joe Clark and Christopher Wilson. \ Memorial contributions may take the form of donation to the Sacramento Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
