Janet \Toolie\"" Cooper

\ Janet 'Toolie' Cooper, 55, of White Plains, KY, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at her residence. \ \ She was born February 1, 1959 in Madisonville, KY to James A. Young Sr. of Madisonville and the late Dorothy Jean Cates-Young. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Young. \ \ Mrs. Cooper was a cook at Family Diner. She loved dancing, country music, and cooking. She loved her grand kids and great grand kids very much. \ \ She is survived by her father; her companion, David Cooper Sr. of White Plains; four daughters, Jennie (Jody) Duncan of Sturgis, KY, Stephanie N. Eastwood of White Plains, Misty A. Eastwood of Owensboro, KY, and Melissa (Robert) Gibson of Owensboro; one step-son, Dave Cooper of Virginia Beach, VA; two sisters, Norma Hancock of Madisonville and Stacey Coleman of Manitou, KY; three brothers, James Young Jr. of Nortonville, KY, Thomas Young of French Lick, IN, and Terry Wayne Young of Nebo; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. \ \ Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with the Rev. Tondra Daugherty officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Hanson, KY. \ \
Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. \ \ Memorial contributions may be made to the Janet Cooper Memorial Fund c/o Barnett-Strother Funeral Home.
