Jean D. Ezell Obituary (1942 - 2019)

Jean D. Ezell, 77 , of Madisonville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019 at her residence. She was born May 31, 1942, in Calhoun, KY to the late Dan Abney and Lottie Crabtree Abney. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ezell; and her brothers and sisters, Dan Jerry Abney, Pearl Carter, Mittie Abney, James "Jackson" Abney, and Ann Spurrier. She was a member of Life Apostolic Church in Madisonville and Christ Gospel Church in Owensboro. She is survived by one daughter, Stacey (Donald) Rager of Madisonville; two brothers, Alvie Abney and Mike Abney, both of Calhoun; one sister, Melva Morris of Calhoun; two grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Dustin Lee and Bro. Gerald Head officiating. Burial will follow in New Macedonia Cemetery in Panther, KY. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
