Jerry Orange

Jerry Clay Orange, 73, of Madisonville, KY passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at Baptist Health in Madisonville. Mr. Orange was born May 29, 1943 in Caldwell Co., KY to the late Spence Orange and Delcia Orange-Russell. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Orange; sister, Jan Spratt-Arnold; and his step-father, George Russell. He was of the Baptist faith. He worked many jobs in his life, from being a milk man to a coal miner and, mechanic at the Dept. of Transportation from where he retired. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, working in his garden and out in the garage. He spent time watching Nascar, cooking shows, and UK basketball and enjoyed sitting on the porch with his friends. He was known by many as a Volkswagen enthusiast. He is survived by his wife, Jane Sharon Orange; two daughters, Sharon Lynn Baker of Madisonville and Karen Klay Orange of Madisonville; and one granddaughter, Cori Spencer Craig. Cori was his pride and joy. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces and cousins.
