Jimmy Ray Brown

Mr. Jimmy Ray Brown, 65, of Madisonville, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ He was born February 28, 1945 in Wauchula, FL to the late Raymond Brown and Mabel Cottrell Brown. \ Mr. Brown was a Kentucky Colonel, Vietnam veteran, a member of the VFW and American Legion as well as the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society. He was an avid fisherman \ He is survived by his wife, Nancy Kelly Brown; one daughter, Leigh (Brad) England of Madisonville; two brothers, Bobby Copeland of CA and Wayne Copeland of FL; one sister, Pat (Doug) Pilson of Madisonville and two grandchildren, Kelly Jo England and Clay England both of Madisonville; several nieces and nephews. \ Graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn. Graveside military honors will be conducted by the Hopkins County Honor Guard. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home. \ Memorial Contributions may be made to the Mahr Cancer Center. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
