John Lamb

John M. Lamb, Sr., 71, of Providence, KY passed away on Sunday, December 5. 2021 at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville. He was a retired coal miner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Virginia Lamb; brother, Carlos, sister, Chris, and nephew, CR.
He is survived by his wife, Reoma; son, John Jr., daughter, Joanne; grandchildren, James, Courtney, Rachel, and Shyann; and one great-granddaughter, Ashley.
He was a member of the Amazing Grace Chapel and Pentecostal Prayer Chapel.
His greatest joy was being Papaw and all his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Services were provided by Barnett-Strother Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made in the form of Gideon Bibles in memory of John Lamb Sr.
