Karen Kittinger

Karen Sue Kittinger, 71, of Madisonville, KY passed away, October 23, 2026, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.
She was born on July 6, 1955, in Sacramento, CA and was raised in Princeton, IN to the late Robert Palmer Kolb and Margie Ellen Shouse. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Doug Kolb and Brian Kolb.
Karen worked at Independent Hauler Association as an insurance agent for 25 plus years and worked for 7 years before retiring as an accounts payable clerk.
Karen loved to shop, travel, and cook for her family. She was a fan of UK football and basketball. She was a woman of faith who loved the Bible and her church family. Above all, she was a wonderful mom.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Randy Kittinger of Madisonville; daughter, Alicia (Jason) Pollard of Madisonville; son, Wes (MacKenzie) Farmer of Bowling Green; step-daughter, Lori Kittinger of Madisonville; step-sons, Randy Allen (Claudia) Kittinger of Germany and Steven (Jemimah) Kittinger of Madisonville; brother, Steve (Bev) Kolb of Madisonville; and grandchildren, Jaxon Pollard, Jase Pollard, Maria Farmer, Samuel Kittinger, Johanna Kittinger, Raphael Kittinger, Michael Kittinger, Aureel Kittinger, Matthew Travis, Skyler Kittinger, Audessa Kittinger, Ezra Kittinger, Stephanie Kittinger, and Keziah Kittinger.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Kris Goodman and Pastor Dan Saunders officiating.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
