Kenneth Wayne Lamb

Kenneth Wayne Lamb, 82 of Madisonville, KY passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at his sons residence in Dawson Springs, KY.
He was born January 14, 1936 in Caldwell Co., KY to the late Alex Lamb and Gertrude Orange Lamb. He was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, and gardening. He loved to be outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Catherine Lamb; one daughter, Karen (Bobby) Jones of Madisonville; three sons, Michael Lamb of Tulsa, OK, James (Dawn) Lamb of Salem, KY, and Steven (Julie) Lamb of Dawson Springs; one brother, Jimmy Lamb of Princeton, KY; one sister, Lena Mae Beshears of Dawson Springs; and five grandchildren, Kaitlyn Jones, Brandon Jones, Brock Jones, Stephanie Hatcher, and Dakota Lamb.
Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Robin Redd and Bro. Wayne Lamb officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
